UCB Daily Notes

The new UCB Daily Bible Notes are now available. These will cover Aug/Sep/Oct and are free. The notes are available in both youth and adult versions.

Saturday morning prayer

The Saturday morning prayer meeting will be changing to its holiday time of one meeting at 8.00am. Normal meetings will be resumed on Saturday 11th Sep with 2 prayer meetings at 7.30am and 8.30am.

Open Access Playscheme

Portsmouth City Council is using the centre for an Open Access Playscheme Mon to Fri from Mon 26 July - Fri 27 Aug inclusive during the holidays. For Child Protection purposes please do not access the Centre during this period between 9am - 4pm without prior arrangement with Angela.

CYC van

The van loading will take place on Friday 30th July starting at the Centre at 6pm. Anything to be loaded into the van needs to be at the Centre between 5 - 6pm please. The unloading will take place on Sat 7th August starting at the garage between 4pm and 6pm depending on traffic.

CYC Cakes

If anyone would like to make some cakes for CYC, please deliver them to the centre in a sealed container in time for loading onto the van on Friday.

CYC Meeting

White Sheets for CYC!!

Do you have any old white sheets or fabric that you don't need any more? If so, then CYC need them for painting on! Do you have any washing up bottles that are finished with or will be finished with in time for CYC? If you have any of items please pass them on to Clare or Nathan.

Sunday Celebration Planning

Evening meetings to Restart

The evening meetings are restarting on the 25th July. They will be an informal evening of prayer, worship and sharing God's love and his word. In the Autumn we plan to re-introduce the Guest Dinner Evenings.

Dedication of Bradley Woodman

We will be celebrating the Dedication of Bradley Ray Woodman on the 8th August with a Bring and Share Lunch. Bradley will be christened at St. James' Hospital Chapel at 2.00pm on Sunday 1st August. All are welcome to join both celebrations.

CYC Training

The annual training for all CYC leaders will be held on 20th July, 7.30pm for 8.00pm at the Langstone centre. It is essential for all CYC leaders to attend this session.

Store Keeper

The store cupboard is need of someone to lavish some care and attention on it. The current keepers do a splendid job, but it needs a dedicated volunteer to keep it tidy and maintained. Please contact Angela if you are interested.

North End Playscheme

The North End Playscheme (run by former Revelation Church) are looking for volunteers to help run the playscheme during the summer. All sorts of help required: children's tent, security, catering, prayer, etc. 15th-20th Aug. See Jo Gardner for details.

Friday Football
