Alpha Courses

Launch night at Fratton Park Monday 11th January 2010, with special guest Linvoy Primus.

What is Alpha?

You may have seen ALPHA courses in the media, on advertising boards or various local church notice boards. They are fantastic if you want to dip a toe in and find out about Christianity without any pressure to commit yourself.

The course meetings run for a limited number of weeks, usually held one evening a week with a lovely meal. People come and explore questions and discuss different aspects of God in a relaxed and informal way.

Faith and Football

As a church we are involved in running a City Alpha course, which is being run by Faith and Football. Every Monday evening, a group of people gather to explore the Christian faith with a chance to ask any question you like.  We start at 7pm with a free dinner which is then followed by a short talk, and then group discussion time.

The Alpha Course usually is held one evening a week with a lovely meal. People come and explore questions and discuss different aspects of God in a relaxed and informal way. The next Alpha course will be launched at Fratton Park on Monday 11th May with special guest Linvoy Primus, and the 10 week course will begin starts at 7.00pm Monday 25 May with a meal.
