A Christian Club for  8-11 year olds (Yrs 4, 5 & 6)

Fun, Games, Craft, Music, Drama, Chat, Christian Songs, Praying, Bible Stories.

Purpose of Club

The Purpose of the club is to give the children a good time in a friendly environment to help to launch them into life based on a Christian perspective. We will be learning about the Bible and teaching about how to live as a Christian. We do not put any pressure on the children - they have to make up their own decisions as they grow up - but we hope to show them that following Christ is a great way to live.

When and Where

Launch Pad meets on Wednesday evenings in term-time from 6 - 7 pm at the Langstone Church Centre.

Types of Activities

Having fun, Games (indoor and out), Football, Quizzes, Christian Songs, Drama, Music, Model making, Chatting, Praying, Bible stories.

Food and Drink

There will be squash available for children during half-time to cool off after hectic games. Sweets may be given as prizes.

Child Protection and Safety

We work to provide a safe environment for children in out care and comply with the relevant Child Protection Regulations. A copy of our Child Protection Policy is available on request. Any accidents will be recorded and parents/guardians informed.

All children who come to the club need written permission from their parent/carer, and we keep a record of contact details, allergies etc.

Behaviour

We hope that the Club will be as enjoyable as possible for all of the children. Behaviour is generally very good. If there were to be any disruptive behaviour we would aim to deal with it in a fair way and talk to the parents about it.
