Good leadership in a church is really important and we are fortunate to have four leaders with vision, enthusiasm and a good sense of humour! Just so you know, these are the four guys who lead the church. They work as a team, seeking God's guidance, teaching us, leading us, and encouraging us:

With approximately 25 years experience in Leadership, David Lambert is our longest serving leader. His practical down-to-earth approach to life enables people to see clearly how Jesus can meet our needs in today's society. Dave and his wife Janet can often be spotted walking their Golden Retriever, Copper, in the local area of Milton. As well as overseeing many of the activities we have going on at Langstone Church, amongst other things he is a wise, considered and intuitive speaker.
Steve Macfarlane (Steve Mac - known affectionately to all), has been a leader at Langstone Church for approximately 7 years. He has worked full-time for Langstone since 2002. He is married to Hannah and has three beautiful girls to look after. Steve oversees the Sunday morning groups and their leaders as well. Steve's stories at church often involve sweets or chocolate, which immediately grabs everyone's attention! Steve has an exceptional gift for exploring God's Word - he sees teaching as his main call from God along with being a pastor. But he's not always serious - his monkey impressions have to be seen to be believed!
In his 'spare time' Steve is a rocket scientist. Steve is a real family man and has become known as the 'adopted daddy' of the church.Langstone has always believed in everyone being equally important, so the church leaders are always wanting to know what God is saying through each of us and we all share the work too - we are all servants!
