Christmas Day

We will be gathering on Christmas Day at 10am to celebrate the coming of Jesus among His people! We hope to see many of you there for this great day!


Prayer and Fasting Weekend

The Prayer and Fasting weekend of the New Year will be on Friday 9th and Saturday 10th January. There will be meetings in the evenings, starting at 8pm, and prayer meetings on the Saturday morning at 7:30 & 8:30am. We will be praying into the vision God has given us for 2009. Don't miss it!


Barn Dance 2009

After the success of the last country boogie, this time Langstone Church is hosting another Barn Dance on Jan 31st! Once again Duncan will be playing his squeeze box and YOU will be doing the swinging! See Duncan and Jo for details.


Why Christmas?

Splinter Cell and Acts have joined forces to bring us some entertainment this Christmas in a performance entitled 'Why Christmas?'. There will plenty to keep all ages entertained including traditional carols. Refreshments, including mince pies, will be provided.


Children's Ministry Conference

Quiz Night

Are you full of infomation about random subjects?!? Splinter and Act's are hosting a Quiz Night This Thursday For Everyone. This will be at Church starting at 7.30. You will be placed into a team once you arrive. This is an open event invite your friends and family. Pizza provided! See Ryan or Rob.


The Jellyfish Man

21st Jan 2009, Fratton Park, £Free! Hear the miraculous testonomy of Ian McCormack who was stung by five box jellyfish while diving off the coast of Maritius, later died in hospital and was dead for 15-20 minutes. During this time he experienced both hell and heaven and came back to tell the story!

Thank You - Shoe Box Appeal!

Thank you to everyone who donated time, money and shoeboxes towards the Operation Christmas Child Shoebox Appeal, this year we sent 145 shoeboxes which is a record for Langstone Church! We also sent a financial gift towards the charity. Well done everyone!


Mens Night Out - Mon 24th Nov

Carols at Corben Lodge

This year's visit to Corben Lodge will take place at 7.30pm on Thursday, 11th Dec. Everybody is welcome to come and join this evening. We will be sharing carols and bible readings. Langstone is the only church that goes in to Corben Lodge and the visit is very much appreciated by the residents.


CYC AGM

Barn Dance

Duncan and Jo Gardner will be performing at a Barn Dance - Duncan playing accordian and Jo calling - at the United Reformed Church in Milton Road. The dance will be on 14th Nov. For more information please see Jo or Duncan.
